Diploma in Interior and Architecture Design | 2021-2024
During my time at Temasek Polytechnic, I gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that will support my transition into the professional industry. As a Year 3 student, one of my key goals was to further improve my academic performance and pursue opportunities to continue my studies at a local university.
Throughout my Year 1 and Year 2 journey, I also served as the module representative for Integrated Studio Project 2, Space Planning, and Construction & Detailing. Taking on these leadership roles allowed me to develop greater responsibility, strengthen my communication skills, and actively engage with lecturers and classmates to enhance the overall learning experience.
Relevant Modules
Integrated Studio Project (InSP)
This session taught me how to analyze a real-world site to find opportunities and limits in the areas of environment, program, and development. I've also learned how to work with the existing beams and columns in the buildings.
Digital Visualisation
In this module, I was taught how to construct a layout and create virtual objects using programs like 3D Max, Revit, Sketchup, and Autocad. In order to completely understand and explore, I have also learned to push myself to do things that I am not explicitly instructed to do.
Interior Building Systems
The understanding and implementation of building systems that contribute to the convenience, security, and accessibility of users in an interior setting have been taught to me in this module.
Construction and Detailing
This subject has taught me the knowledge and skills to produce a set of construction drawings to communicate architectural and design intents.

Relevant Subjects
English
Despite the fact that English is not my strong suit, I have always loved learning it because my teachers and I would frequently have stimulating exchanges in class.
Chinese
Mandarin is my strong suite, therefore I really loved learning it with my teacher because we had so many great conversations and exchanged stories about our daily lives in class.
Science (Physics & Chemistry)
Science is a pretty intriguing subject, thus I definitely enjoy studying it a lot. I was able to work toward academic excellence in this subject because my teachers piqued my curiosity about wanting to learn more about it.
E-Math
I used to dislike this subject as I struggled a lot in primary school but I am thankful that I had an amazing Mathematics teacher who encouraged and sparked my interests to do my best.
Humanities (Social Studies & History)
As I adore reading about history, I particularly loved learning about these topics.
Design & Technology
I am more than prepared to delve further into learning more about the subject because I like the art of putting pieces into position.
