Here are some of my job experiences and what I did for in my jobs

Carousell Reseller | Entrepreneur | Jan 2020 - Current

Here are a few things I did for this job: 

- Developed effective communication skills and negotiation skills through engagement with customers

- Generated a profit by analyzing the market and using the 'buy low, sell high’ strategy.

- Balancing the account

What I have learnt from my experience: 

As a Carousell Reseller, I tend to meet a lot of new people who are interested in the products I am selling. This is a great way to network and gain more exposure in making new friends. Next, being a carousell reseller also allowed me to learn new skills, such as marketing, customer service, and inventory management. Furthermore, I have learnt to provide a valuable service to people who are looking for the products I offered, this can be a very satisfying experience, knowing that i am helping others find what they need. Hence these skills can be valuable in other areas of my life as well. Overall being a Carousell reseller can be a very positive and rewarding experience, both personally and professionally. 

Bartender| Concocted Affairs & Luxe Catering | Jul 2022 – Current

Here are a few things I do for this job

- Made cocktails, mocktails and highballs

- Opened bottles of wine and champagne before pouring them into glasses

- Basic shaking

- Stirring

- Served drinks to guests

- Interacting with clients

- Accommodating to clients' needs

What I have learnt from my experience: 

Bartending allows me to meet a diverse range of people from all walks of life, which can be a great opportunity to make new friends and connections. It also helps me to developed social skills such as communication and interpersonal skills where I have to socialize with the clients. Lastly, It also improve my time management skills as I need to be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders at once.

What I have learnt from my experience: 

This job has gained me excellent organisational skills as I need to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and must be able to adept at prioritizing my workload and managing my time effectively to ensure that all tasks assigned to me are completed on time. Next, I am also detail-oriented and accurate, as I will need to pay close attention to every aspect of the job as I was in-charge of balancing the account and stocks, so even small mistakes can have significant consequences. Moreover, I have learnt to be flexible and adaptable as tasks and priorities can change quickly, I learnt to be able to adjust to new situations and handle unexpected challenges effectively. Overall, being an Administrator can provide valuable experiences in developing key skills that are transferable to many other professions.

Warehouse Helper| Giant Hypermart | Dec 2020 – Jan 2021

What I have learnt from my experience: 

I have learnt to pay attention to detail as in warehouse, it is important to pay close attention to details such as product codes, labels, and inventory levels. These have helped to developed skills in accuracy and attention to detail. Next, I have also learnt to work as a team, as it is more effective working as a team to get the job done efficiently. Being a warehouse helper can help to develop skills in communication, collaboration, and working together towards a common goal.
