CCA Experiences

Football Club | 2016-2020 | Holy Innocents' High School

From 2016 – 2019, I was an active member of the Holy Innocents’ High School Football Club. In 2019, as the captain of my school’s Football team, we took part in the Singapore Interschool Football competition, the camaraderie between my team led us to clinch the 4th position. In the five years that I have been a member of the CCA, I have taken part in a wide variety of productions and had numerous chances to either be on stage or work behind the scenes. I learned the value of time management because I had to spend a lot of time in school as the planning committee of the football team in order to prepare and support the planning. While these abilities were frequently used in the field, my experience has taught me the value of having strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills. I think these abilities, together with the knowledge I've learned, will enable me to better manage my time and interact with others I work with in the future.
